Academic Advising

All academic advising will now be conducted through non-face-to-face methods such as phone, email, and Zoom. When seeking college-based support, please ensure that you are viewing the correct college for your major.

Look for recent communications from SDSU Athletics Academic Support, and keep in touch with your current support personnel.
Information is being shared with students through Blackboard and regular updates will be provided through social media (Facebook and Instagram).

Please see this College of Education site for information on withdrawing from a course or changing your grading basis to Credit/No-Credit.

Information is being shared with students through the college’s Blackboard Homeroom and will also be posted on the CSSE website and the College of Engineering website. CSSE Advisors will have links for appointments in their email signature lines and in outgoing messages. Advising questions may also be emailed to [email protected],  which is monitored Monday through Friday.
The College of Health and Human Services major advisors will be conducting advising session in a virtual modality. Please see their contact information below.
